China Manufacturer Galvanized Chain link Fence With Barbed Wire.

Chain link fencing is a system based on single- or double-twist wire mesh. The mesh size varies from 30 x 30 mm to 70 x 70 mm, and is diamond-shaped. The wires of a chain link fence packaged in rolls have a thickness ranging from 2 mm to 4 mm in diameter. They are made with low-carbon steel. The galvanised wire is then coated with PVC or epoxy, a coating that is perfectly resistant to UV.

   
 Chain link fabric is available in heights of 36inch, 42inch, 48inch, 60inch, 72inch, 84inch, 96inch, 120inch, and 144inch. The fabric is formed by weaving a series of spirals together. How the top and bottom of fence is finished is referred to as the selvage. Fences less than 72inch must knuckle both ends by industry standard (KK). Heights of 72inch and higher, are generally twisted or barbed at one end and knuckled (BK) on the other. For high security enclosures, chain link can be obtained with both ends twisted or barbed (BB).

 

Fabric comes in a variety of gauges. Gauge is the diameter of the wire; the higher the gauge number the smaller the wire diameter. Standard mill diameter tolerance is + or - .005inch. Common gauges and diameters are as follows:

• 6 gauge=0.192inch=4.88mm
• 9 gauge=0.148inch=3.76mm
• 11 gauge=0.120inch=3.05mm
• 11 ½ gauge=0.113inch=2.87mm
• 12 gauge=0.106inch=2.7mm
• 12 ½ gauge=0.099inch=2.5mm

• Chain  link fence fittings: post caps, top rail sleeves, rail and brace, rail ends, boulevard bands, barb wire arms, tension bands, brace bands, tension bars, truss rods, post ties, rail ties, hog ring.
  • Tension and brace bands: 1⁄8 inch by 1 in.
  • Galvanized steel carriage bolts and nuts: 3⁄8 in.
  • Tension bars length: 2 in. less than the fabric height.
  • Truss rods: 3⁄8 in. diameter galvanized steel.
  • Post ties, rail ties and hog rings: 9 gauge, 0.148 in diameter.
  • Tension wire: 7 gauge steel, 0.177 in. diameter.
